Port of Seattle SAMP EA Webinar

Register here for a webinar presentation on the FAA’s Findings for its Environmental Review of SEA’s Sustainable Airport Master Plan Near Term Projects.

“Over the last nine years, the FAA has worked closely with the Port to evaluate the environmental impacts of SEA’s proposed 31 near-term projects, which include a second terminal with 19 new gates, a ground transportation center, off-site cargo facilities, extensions of airfield taxiways, and expansion of the fuel facility to prepare for future fuel needs. Now that the FAA has released its final documentation, this workshop is the first opportunity for community members to learn about its final analysis in advance of the staff presentation to the Port Commission at its October 14 meeting.

Please note that the FAA’s environmental review is one step in a continuing effort to evaluate these 31 projects. The Port of Seattle will lead the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) environmental review of these proposed investments, with an expected public comment period in early 2026.
