SEA Operations Recap and Preview, Steve Vittner, Airline Scheduling Manager, POS o Highlights of our operational outlook for Q1 2024 based on schedules submitted from carriers • 3 –4 gates out for construction during Q1 2024 will have a limited impact on operations • Operations beginning to increase in March. • Peak periods for arrivals and departures show morning and evening periods could see some congestion and holds • Compared to 2023 Q1, minimal increase overall: § Appx 0.4% increase in seats versus Q1 2023 § Appx. 0.2% increase in operations versus Q1 2023 o Taxi time by hour: goal is not to exceed 20 minutes; this goal is largely being met; causes for delay may be weather and early arrivals o Grounding of Boeing Max 9 • 17 of 19 planes at SEA were consolidated at the Cargo 5 area on the airfield • No adjustments to February flight schedules, informed rolling cancellations to continue as needed until all aircraft returned to service • Area is clear…
