Port – Tree Removal Notice, September 6, 2002

At the direction of the Federal Aviation Administration, the Port of Seattle will be removing some trees that pose a danger for aircraft take-offs and landings near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The trees are located on property owned by the Port and the state to the west and south of Tyee Golf Course, near South 196th Street and South 196th Place. We expect the work to start on Sept. 16 and take up to four weeks to complete.
